As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate these challenges and build lasting skills for personal growth and emotional wellness. I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have spent over five years working with diverse populations, specializing in anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, and serious mental illness.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and compassionate. I draw from person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT) to help you discover what works best for you. I believe that when we understand the link between our thoughts and emotions, we can begin to change how we experience the world—and ourselves.
Mental health can be intimidating to work on, but reaching out is the first courageous step. My goal is to walk alongside you, creating a supportive space where you feel heard, empowered, and equipped to move forward. in compassion and respect.
I work with teens (13+) and adults, helping individuals navigate a wide range of challenges, including schizophrenia, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My background in both the military and social work has shown me the power of resilience, connection, and teamwork – values I bring into my sessions. I tailor my approach to your unique goals and strengths, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
